Since the Italian Education started for Chinese students only a short time and the language barrier for Chinese students, they don’t have a good channel to get information about the education. Therefore, we build this website in order to let more people could know better about "Tor Vergata" University. We hope that it may give you some help and more Chinese students could have the opportunity to study in Italian.

At present, there are about 120 Chinese students in "Tor Vergata" University who are form about 20 provinces and cities of China.

In these students, about 84 of them are undergraduates, 10 are masters, 26 are doctors.

One of the most important things for the beginning of the university is to solve the accommodation. In general, there are two methods to solve this problem. At first, they could live in "GUEST HOUSE" which is applied by the university. It costs 6.5 euros per day, including the expenditure of water and electricity. But usually it is only for short living. Secondly, rent a room which is the most common method for students. In Italy, the most economical temporary accommodation is the youth hotel, the average price is around 15 to 30 euros per night. If the breakfast is included it will a little more expensive, at an average price of 25 to 50 euros per night. It’s not very easy for the students to find a cheap and comfortable room. In order to find a room or apartment with the other students, you could see the bulletin board of campus, the local newspaper, or advertisements. Usually, the price for rent room won’t less than 150 euros a month, for a singal room no less than 300 euros. The prices vary according to location of residence.
